Peach Wood & Alabaster & Granite,

This adolescent child was born from an ice storm. My favorite Peach tree was split when it was struck by falling trees. I used the forked nature of the limbs to create new life. The wood is filled with color and grain.Its curved shape suggested a dancing figure that was made complete by the red toned alabaster head.
