This strong face has a very abstract hair shape.. I love combining various stones.
The simplified shape of the base softens and adds grace to the face. it also picks up the
color of marble veining.Another technique used here that I favor is leaving area rough
to show the stoniness of the marble.the edges of her hair are the rough untouched stone.
