Limestone

This sculpture started with a fragment of limestone that had a drilled hole in it. One day i looked at it and saw an eye.. The Seagull evolved.I like the way the negative space of the eye lts light penetrate through the sculpture. Limestone is great with texture so I added file lines on the head to suggest feathers.
